IPOB Declares Support For Igboho Over Attack On His Home, Warns Of Looming Crisis

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has condemned the invasion of the residence of Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho by the Department of State Services (DSS).

IPOB described the attack on Igboho’s Soka residence in Ibadan, as barbaric and unacceptable.

IPOB, in a statement issued by the spokesman of the group, Emma Powerful, also alleged that the Fulani and their collaborators are trying to bring catastrophe to Nigeria.

The group asked the Nigerian government and security agents, especially the DSS, to stop taking it for granted.

A statement by Powerful reads: “We the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), ably led by our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, condemn the recent attack and massacre of peaceful and unarmed citizens of Odua people in the house of Sunday Igboho in his country home in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Sunday Igboho has not killed anybody. Nigerian government and her security operatives invaded his home and kidnapped his innocent women in the house for the proposed rally in Lagos on Saturday, 4th ofJuly 2021.

Fulani and their collaborators are trying to bring catastrophe to Nigeria. They are trying to plunge Nigeria into a serious crisis that will consume everybody. They should stop taking the indigenous nations in Nigeria for granted. Enough of this impunity!

IPOB worldwide is solidly behind Sunday Igboho and Odua nation movement. The attack on Igboho is akin to the attack they unleashed on the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi on September 14, 2017 when the military Python danced in his country home.”

937 People Killed In Attacks In Kaduna In 2020

At least 937 people died in violent attacks and mass atrocities in Kaduna State last year, an annual security report by the state government has shown. The report released Wednesday attributed the deaths to kidnappings, banditry and other criminal activities that cut “across all ethnic and religious groups” in Kaduna State. “Victims of criminal acts like banditry and kidnapping are to be found across ethnic, religious or political leanings and persuasions,’’ Samuel Aruwan, the state’s commissioner for internal security and home affairs, said while presenting the report. Air Force bombs wedding guests in Niger State

A Nigerian Air Force Alpha Jet has shelled a wedding venue, killing some wedding guests at a remote community in Niger State. The airstrikes were targeting bandits and insurgents in the area. The airstrike in which some armed bandits and cattle rustlers were killed took place at Genu town in Niger State, it was reported on Saturday, adding that “ One of the bombs allegedly strayed at a wedding party in an adjoining village .” “ We saw the small aircraft dropping bombs from afar on the location of fleeing bandits and one of the explosives hit a wedding event in Argida Village. Two villagers were also killed, unfortunately.
