Shocking pictures of ghost town in Aba, Abia state

  Many react as the ever busy Aba market blew dry as citizens massively obey the sit-at-home ordered by the angry Indigenous people of Biafra. From the pictures evidence you can see how deserted the roads looks and how shops are closed up. Contrary to a story that went wild yesterday on the internet  Concerning the IPOB canceling the sit!-at-home order, came another which clearly debunked the cancellation of the sit-at-home order as propaganda.   According to the Indigenous people of Biafra, the sit-at-home must continue to be observed every Monday until Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is unconditionally release from the DSS custody.

Anambra Government Threatens Workers: Obey IPOB Sit-at-home Order, Lose August Salary

  The Anambra State Government has threatened not to pay August salary to any worker who abstains from work on Monday in obedience to the sit-at-home order by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). This is contained in a public announcement by the Head of Service, Barry Harry Uduh on Sunday. IPOB had on July 30 ordered sit-at-home in the South-East every Monday, until Nnamdi Kanu, its leader, is released from the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS). The  group said the lockdown tagged ‘ Ghost Monday ’ will also affect schools and marketplaces. It threatened to shut down economic activities in the region, adding that violators of the order would be visited with violence. Nnamdi Kanu, MASSOB declare sit-at-home nationwide

  The Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have ordered a sit-at-home on May 30.  But IPOB said its members in over 100 countries, including Lagos, Abuja as well as northern towns with reasonable population of its members are to also observe the sit -at -home. The pro -Biafra groups said the annual event in commemoration of itsfallenheroes   and heroines, would be observed in all markets, churches, banks, parks, airports and seaports within and outside the region. These were contained in separate statements by IPOB and MASSOB by the Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful and Comrade Samuel Edeson, National Director of Information, respectively in Awka-Ibom.
