Mamman Daura Taken To The UK For Urgent Treatment

Mamman Daura, a nephew and close confidant of President Muhammadu Buhari, has been flown to the United Kingdom for urgent medical treatment over an undisclosed ailment, SaharaReporters has reliably gathered. Ohanaeze, Afenifere, PANDEF Reject Mamman Daura's Call For Scraping Of Zoning

The Rainbow Social cultural groups and prominient persons in the country have been reacting to the call by President Muhammadu Buhari's nephew, Malam Mamman Daura, for the 2023 presidency to be based on competence rather than rotation between North and South. In an interview with the BBC Hausa Service, Daura who is regarded one of the President’s closest confidant, urged Nigerians to embrace competence, and not zoning, in determining the next president in 2023. Competence Over Zoning??

Are Southeast and Southwest about to be played again? Mamman Daura's statement on a recent tweet says that presidency should be by competence and not zonal. It was earlier known that the presidency has been promised to both zones. However, the Afenifere group rejected Daura’s position saying the country must continue with the common understanding of power rotation between the North and the South.
