Biden Announces Purchase Of 200M Vaccine Doses

  President Joe Biden announced a series of measures on Tuesday aimed at ramping up coronavirus vaccine allocation and distribution, including the purchase of 200 million more vaccine doses and increased distribution to states by millions of doses next week. With those additional doses, Biden said there would be enough to fully vaccinate 300 million Americans -- nearly the entire US population -- by the end of summer or early fall. He described efforts to combat Covid-19 as a "wartime undertaking." We now have a national strategy to beat Covid-19. It's comprehensive. It's based on science, not politics. Security Of Nigeria Much Better Now Than In Previous Government- Lai Mohammed

 The Nigerian Government, despite the security challenge in the county, has said the current situation is better than what the situation was in 2015. This was a claim by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed while answering questions at a press conference in Abuja on Monday. He was joined at the briefing by the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, The PUNCH reported.  "I can say without hesitation that, though Nigeria is facing security challenges, the situation is far better than what we met in 2015." The Minister lai Mohammed stated He also emphasized on how the daily destruction made by Boko Haram members were being witnessed in about 12 states, including Abuja before the inception of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration. He reassured that the security status of the country has changed,and is in a preferable state. “There is no doubt that we are much better than how it was,” he added.
