Coalitions of 52 northern groups on Monday called on the global community to intervene in persuading the Nigerian government and United Nations to facilitate the final actualisation of the Biafran dream by the Igbo. The Human and Environmental Development Agenda has said assets and funds worth more than $400m (about N152 billion) stolen from Nigeria were stashed in the United Arab Emirates. The leading anti-graft group explained that out of the 800 assets uncovered by investigators, 216 assets were linked to 13 top security officials, while the remaining 584 have been traced to public officials. UK and US government accused Russia of testing  projectile Weapon in space that could be used to target satellites in the Orbit. The US State Department described the recent use of "what would appear to be actual in-orbit anti-satellite weaponry" as concerning.
