Two Suspected Robbers Burnt To Death By Angry Mob Over Attempt To Steal Tricycle In Anambra

  Two yet-to-be identified men have been burnt by some angry youths around Ekwusigo, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State. They were allegedly caught while they were attempting to steal a tricycle, popularly known as Keke Napep, from its owner. This caught the attention of some people who mobbed and started beating them. The two were beaten to a pulp before they were later burnt to death.  Details of the incident were still sketchy as at the time of filing the report.

Katsina Police Arrest Teenager Who Killed Two Suspected Bandits

  The police in Katsina have arrested a 13-year-old boy, Abdulkarim Mati, for killing two men suspected to be bandits. The police said the suspect, Mati was once an errand boy to a bandit leader, Ardo Nashaware, who resides in Birnin Magaji forest, Zamfara State. He was said to have fled the forest where he allegedly committed the act. According to the spokesman for the Katsina police command, Gambo Isah, who confirmed the incident on Saturday, officers recently arrested Mati from where he ran to after he escaped from the forest. Police, Miyetti Allah Arrest Foreigner Who Sold Over 4,500 Rifles To Bandits In Zamfara

  The Zamfara State Police Command has arrested five notorious suspects involved in banditry, kidnapping, cattle rustling, and illegal possession of firearms. The suspects were paraded by the Police Public Relations Officer, Shehu Mohammed, on Friday. Mohammed explained that the arrest of the suspects was a result of the collaboration between the police and the state leadership of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN). He stated that the command would continue to work with any group or persons willing to work for the peace of Zamfara and the north-west region. The PPRO assured the people of Zamfara that the command was working hard to ensure the state was free of all criminal activities.
