Gunmen Abduct Kogi Monarch, Demand N30m Ransom

  A source disclosed that the first-class traditional ruler was alone in his car on his way to the Eganyi community from Okene around 4 pm but was abducted between Ebiya and Eganyi by the gunmen. A traditional ruler in Kogi State, the Adogu of Eganyi in Ajaokuta Local Government Area, Alhaji Mohammed Adembe, has been abducted by unknown gunmen on Tuesday evening along Okene – Agogo road. A source disclosed that the first-class traditional ruler was alone in his car on his way to the Eganyi community from Okene around 4 pm but was abducted between Ebiya and Eganyi by the gunmen. It was learnt that the kidnappers established contact with the relatives around 1 pm on Wednesday and demanded a ransom of N30 million. The IPOB boss Nnamdi kanu made a tweet that caught the public attention sighting the Nigerian army as Fulani terrorists. His tweet: RED ALERT!!! There are confirmed sightings of ongoing abductions & kidnappings of people around OZUBULU and IHIALA right now by Fulani terrorists/soldiers of the  @HQNigerianArmy . They arrived in over 30 Toyota Hilux vans. Some were seen patrolling on foot around these areas.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God declares Prayers For Abducted Members As Gunmen Demand N50m Ransom A serious search for the members has been launched by security agencies, including the police and the military. Lookman Onabanjo 'Bugon' Kidnapped With His Driver, Others. 100m Ransom Demanded

  The family of an Ikorodu-born business mogul, Alhaji Lookman Onabanjo, popularly known as “Bugon” has been thrown into panic, following his abduction, Monday, at Agbowa area of Ikosi-Ejirin Local Council Development Area of Lagos State. He was kidnapped alongside his driver and three others, while on their way to his farm in Ota. The kidnap was carried out by eight gunmen with seven AK-47 rifle and one submachine gun. The businessman owns companies among which is Bugon Oil and Gas, Bugon Autoland and Bugon farms. However three of his mean were release few hours  later. According to one of the freed victims, the gunmen made them trek for two hours until they got to a thick bush, where they were held. A family source, who pleaded anonymity, told our correspondent that the kidnappers demanded N100 million as a ransom for their release, adding that the amount was still being negotiated.
