A Nigerian Lady youth corp named miss ubugu's was reportedly murdered by a police.  From the medical and autopsy results 23th March 2021 it was shown that the said lady was strangulated by the alleged police officer. What resulted to the incident is still unknown to the public.   Sadly the deceased remains were severely dismembered and had her genitals mutilated. 

Four Chinese worker constructors were reported to have been kidnapped on July 22nd in akampa cross river state. It was revealed early today that the four construction workers were set free in Akpabuyo Local Government Area on Sunday morning after their abductors allegedly collected the sum of twenty-two million naira from Danatrite Construction company, their employers. A source in the company which pleads anonymity confirmed to Vanguard that all the four are alive but severely traumatized and may soon leave the country to China for rest and medical care. DSP Irene Ugbo, the Police Public Relations Officer Cross River Police Command said the police worked assiduously to get the Chinese freed but could not confirm the sum paid as ransom to get them free.

Counsel to Ibrahim Magu, Tosin Ojaomo has insisted that his client was still in charge of the Commission. Ojaomo said there is no official communication that Magu has been suspended.Addressing journalists in Abuja, Ojaomo assures that the truth concerning Magu’s current alligations would soon be revealed. “The truth will soon be out. I was there today, but I couldn’t see him. They said I should come early in the morning so I will be there to apply for his bail. The news that someone has been appointed to replace him or that he is under suspension is not true. There is no letter of suspension. You will be shocked how this will end.”  Magu is currently being investigated for corruption and misconduct by a Presidency-backed panel.
