NCDC Establishes New COVID-19 Testing Laboratories

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has established five new COVID-19 testing laboratories in the country.

This is shown in a tweet on the NDDC official handle.Which said the latest addition brings the number of testing labs for COVID-19 in Nigeria to 58.

“We are pleased to announce inclusion of 5 new labs in our Molecular Laboratory Network,” :NCDC tweet.

The agency said the new testing laboratories were set up at the Edo Specialist Hospital, Benin, Edo State; ATBU Teaching Hospital, Bauchi; Rivers Indorama Company Molecular Lab; State Specialist Hospital, Amachara, Abia and the University of Abuja, Gwagwalada GX Lab.

$114.28m COVID-19 loan: SERAP asks World Bank to make Nigeria ‘publicly commit to transparency’

Two Suspected Robbers Burnt To Death By Angry Mob Over Attempt To Steal Tricycle In Anambra

Two yet-to-be identified men have been burnt by some angry youths around Ekwusigo, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State. They were allegedly caught while they were attempting to steal a tricycle, popularly known as Keke Napep, from its owner. This caught the attention of some people who mobbed and started beating them.
