FG spends N113bn on Osun roads, says Fashola

Image result for fasholaMinister of Works, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, on Thursday, said the federal government is spending over N113 billion on various road projects being executed in various parts of Osun State.

The minister spoke after inspecting road projects funded by the federal government in Ede, Iwoye, Ipetu Ijesa, Ile Ife, Apoti, and Ilesha.

Fashola said the amount covered the cost of eight emergency road repairs and major road/bridge construction in some parts of the state.

According to him, some of the roads receiving attention under emergency road repair include; Iwo-Osogbo road, Akoda-Ede-Osogbo road, Ife-Ifetedo-Ondo state boundary road, Ipetu-ljesa-Apoti-Ondo state boundary road, Ede-Kuta, Ilesa-Ijebu-Jesa road, and Sekona-Ife-Mayfair road.
