I Foresee Deaths Of Nigerian, Ivory Coast Presidents, Pray For Them —Cleric

A cleric, Apostle Paul Okikijesu of the Christ Apostolic Miracle Ministry, has said God wants religious leaders in the country to pray fervently against the deaths of Nigerian and Ivorian Presidents. In his statement that went viral on Saturday containing some prophecies, he declared that a “ brave person will pass away this month in Nigeria,” adding that the individual’s “death will make people to tremble,” and will have “a widespread effect on the nation.” Speaking further, the cleric said, “ Pray against the death of Presidents of Nigeria and Ivory Coast.” He said, “ Thus says the Lord: The religious leaders should pray quickly against the death of these Presidents, else it will happen. “They should pray to I, the Lord to bring down the hand of judgment, because one of these presidents is presently sick, Though I, the Lord am not happy but I want the repentance of the hearts of these presidents". The prophet narrated.

SpaceX has secured a $2.89 billion NASA contract to build spacecraft that will land astronauts on the moon for the first time in five decades

The fixed-price contract is a major vote of confidence for Elon Musk's rocket company, as the space agency is placing a large amount of responsibility for its cornerstone human spaceflight program, known as Artemis, on SpaceX. Friday's announcement is a blow to Blue Origin, the rocket company founded by Jeff Bezos, which had proposed working as a "National Team" alongside corporate behemoths such as Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin to design and build a lunar lander, and to Alabama-based Dynetics, which had put in its own bid. But ultimately, SpaceX won with its bid to use of a spacecraft the company is already developing on its own in South Texas. That vehicle, called Starship, is also the linchpin of Musk's personal goal of landing the first humans on Mars. Test flights of early Starship prototypes have all ended in explosions thus far, but the company is rapidly building new test vehicles. How SpaceX and NASA overcame a bitter culture clash to bring back...

Yoruba Groups Clash Over Creation Of Oduduwa Republic

Two yoruba groups on Saturday clashed over the demand for the creation of Oduduwa Republic from the present Nigerian state. While some leaders under the banner of the Ilana Omoodua Youth Initiatives, led by a Yoruba leader, Professor Banji Akintoye, insisted on having Oduduwa Republic for the Yoruba nation, another group under the auspice of Yoruba Welfare Group (YWG), disagreed with the position. The secretary of the Ilana Omooduwa Youth Initiatives, Dr. Akin Adejumo, who represented Professor Banji Akintoye at a Yoruba mega rally held at Mapo, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, yesterday, insisted that the breakup of Nigeria was imminent. Adejumo said the nation was not working and there was a need for Nigerians to go back to the drawing board and make a profitable decision for their people. But the National President of Yoruba Welfare group (YWG), Comrade Abdulhakeem Adegoke Alawuje, on Saturday insisted that those clamouring for Oodua Republic cannot decide for the Yoruba people. ...

No apologies, I won’t take COVID-19 vaccine –Oyedepo

The Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, aka Winners’ Chapel, David Oyedepo, on Saturday said he would not take the COVID-19 vaccine, adding that he was not a guinea pig. Oyedepo, who spoke during the church’s Covenant Hour of Prayer programme, described the vaccine as illegal. He said though the world was confused about the situation, the church has the answer. Nigeria began its vaccination against the virus in March, with 3.924 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine doses, while the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, said over one million doses of the vaccine had so far been administered across the country. Nigeria has recorded over 160,000 COVID-19 infections and more than 2,000 related deaths. But the cleric said, “ I have never seen a generation where you force people to take vaccines. It is inhuman; it is immoral sir. I’m not a lawyer but I don’t think it is legal. You can’t come to my house and want to give me injection. On what? Did...
